no hobbits in my ear
Last week post SCUBA (my first excursion in almost 9 years) I went to the Doctor with an ear ache. They put me on eardrops for an outer ear infection and oral antibiotics for a middle ear infection (LOTR fans, take note: this is different from a middle-earth infection). Everything seems to clear up until yesterday when I put some over-the-counter drying drops in my ear post shower and yyyyyyyyyYYYYYOOOOOOUCH! Big pain shooting down my jaw. So I went back in. Turns out my ear drum has yet to equalize itself from last Sunday. Some guys escutcheon tubes are smaller than others. So now I'm taking steriodal nasal spray, meaning I'm medicated in nearly every orifice at this point. (suppositories? no thanks Doc!) Not only that, but the spray opens up my nasal passages so wide that the sound of air rushing in kept me awake last night.
As my girlfriend said on the phone (RE: my myriad physical anomalities), "David, you're very... interesting."
Thanks.

I had a middle earth infection once... it was pretty bad for a while but then was better forever.

Someone commented to me "Your friend David seems to only write about his medical problems".
